Descriptions Vessel Walk-through
COCKPIT: Step aboard via the hydraulic swim platform and enter through the port or starboard transom customized gates, or board from either cockpit side, onto the teak sole of the spacious cockpit. There is an additional bow thruster and joy stick engine control station to port at the deck house. The U-shaped settee and high gloss dining/cocktail table are aft between the gates, while forward to port are the stainless steel and glass folding doors, and to starboard is the entrance. The folding doors can be fully opened, revealing a galley counter to port, convenient for serving dinner and/or drinks, and providing an expansive, one level space running from the cockpit settee to the salon with only one step up from the salon to the helm. There is not only a Sure Shade to cover the entire cockpit, but a complete custom-built enclosure if desired. GALLEY, SALON AND HELM AREA: The entire interior from the galley to the companionway stairs below is surrounded by enormous windows that permit anyone in the galley, anyone sitting in the salon or sitting at the helm to have 360 degree visibility. The windows and aft doors are covered with Oceanair blinds for privacy; the windshield blinds, a challenge to reach, are electrically actuated. Custom made runners protect the teak and holly sole upstairs and down. Speakers are throughout as are overhead lights and reading lamps. Reverse cycle 48K BTU air conditioning for galley, salon and helm, keeps the interior cool on those very hot and humid days whether in Florida or Maine. All of the soft goods, pillows and bedspreads throughout Apricity, were custom made. Enhanced salon air conditioning distribution system providing uniform and dependable comfort and efficiency throughout. GALLEY: The fully equipped U-shaped galley is immediately to port. All appliances, with the exception of the outboard induction cooktop, are below the gleaming Viatera countertop. The result is a very clean, uncluttered look. Below are drawers, a Wolf 24" microwave oven, a large stainless steel under-mounted sink, leaving plenty of counter space for preparing food and drinks. Opposite is a long cabinet, below which are two Sub Zero refrigerator drawers and two Sub Zero freezer drawers with an ice maker in one. Custom built Galley Slide Out Trash Receptacle, tripling the standard volume available through Sabre Modified Galley Sink Overboard Drain eliminating clogged traps and sumps Custom Additional Hidden Electrical Outlets eliminating power cords cluttering counter tops Customized overhead port and starboard cabinets are operated by electric lifts that will lower the cabinets to an accessible height.
SALON: Up one step leads to the bright, large salon and helm area. To starboard are two custom- built swivel club chairs, and a 50" hi-lo TV outboard, while opposite to port is a comfortable, custom covered, white Ultraleather, U shaped lounge and dinning/cocktail table. HELM AND MATES SEATING: Overhead, brightening the helm and below, is a large sunroof with a shade. Two Stidd pedestal seats are to starboard at the helm, and outboard is a door to the starboard side deck. Opposite to port is a double bench seat, also elevated to provide a clear view of whatever is beyond the bow. The helm boasts far more-than-complete navigation and electronics equipment and controls, which are described below. The mate's seat overlooks the hall and companionway below on the stateroom level, the massive windshield brightening the area. OFFICE AND DAY HEAD: To starboard is a widened entryway into the office with a day head and stall shower, and cherry ceilings, furniture and bulkheads. An L- shaped desk runs aft, along the inboard bulkhead from the door to the aft bulkhead and then athwartships to the outboard bulkhead. Along the outboard side is a long fore and aft cabinet with a bookshelf. At the forward end is a locker with shelves, drawers, and outlets for plugging in a printer. There are also outlets at the desk for electronics. A 40" TV is mounted on the aft bulkhead above the desk. 12K BTU reverse cycle air conditioning in cabin and head. The owners love this cabin. When not used otherwise, it can be used as handy storage for extra provisions. They also have a roll-up cot that fits nicely under the desk for an unexpected crew member or grand kid! HATCH TO PUMP ROOM: In the companionway sole, between the Office and VIP Stateroom, is a large hatch that provides access to the pump room. More detail below under Standard Equipment. VIP STATEROOM AND PRIVATE HEAD AND STALL: A spacious low, queen island berth with a 9" mattress is on the centerline, with drawers below. There are enclosed upper shelves to port and starboard of the berth. Dimmable accent lighting is below the shelves and berth. There is a large cedar lined hanging locker to starboard and a bureau to port with an enclosed locker above. A 32" built in HD LED TV is on the forward facing bulkhead. To port is the private access to the VIP head and stall shower. Full length mirror on bulkhead. 12K BTU reverse cycle air conditioning in the stateroom and head. MASTER SUITE: There is a spacious 76" x 80" king island berth with a 9" mattress, flanked by nightstands on either side. There are 6 fixed hull ports, three on each side, providing plenty of sunlight. 6 drawers are installed flush into the forward bulkhead, and additional drawers underneath the berth. Aft are cedar lined hanging lockers with shelves. A 50" TV is on the bulkhead. The en-suite master head has a separate shower stall with a clear acrylic shower divider. Elegant custom tile in the head compartment and shower sole. 16K BTU reverse cycle air conditioning in the stateroom and head. ENGINE ROOM: There is not a cleaner or more brilliantly organized engine room. Bar none. Highly functional and expansive space. Well lit, gloss white, with its own air conditioning unit, this engine room has easy access to all equipment including CZone display and key pad. Additionally, the Seakeeper has its own devoted display and keypad near the unit. An example of how friendly the engine room is: cleaning the air conditioning filter is simply going into the engine room, removing the filter, washing it on the spot using the fresh water hose, re-inserting the filter, and then a quick clean-up of the sole with the installed Willy Vac. Lots of room, couldn't be easier. COCKPIT TRANSOM STORAGE: Electrically actuated hatch slides smoothly to reveal a large very convenient storage area. Inside are: 1. The remote control for the hydraulic swim platform 2. Mounted on the forward bulkhead of this fabulous storage space is the 40 GPH Sea Water Pro water maker, elevated so as not to take up storage on the floor from other items conveniently kept here. 3. Cablemaster reel and control are on the starboard side, while there is another reel available to port. 4. Transom shower w/hot and cold controls 5. Fresh water spigot 6. DeWalt hose for washdown mounted on the ceiling and out of the way. 7.
