Overview The 164-foot (50m) SPECTRAL 50 is a new-build, ocean cruiser designed by Christopher Seymour and design consultant Carl Esch to be built by Dutch shipyard Bloemsma & Balk. From an impressive 145-square meter main aft deck to a 40-square meter upper aft deck and an outstanding 75-square meter sundeck this superyacht offers expansive outdoor living for living the best of the alfresco lifestyle. SPECTRAL 50's sprawling main deck aft, features a pool surrounded by sun loungers, a lounge area and a bar -- a retractable sun canopy provides shade when desired. When desired the pool can be covered to provide more deck space. Additionally, there is the option for the pool to convert into a Heli-pad. Just recently, an agreement was reached that the renown Van Oossanen Naval Architects will be responsible for the naval architecture onboard the Spectral series. Perry Van Oossanen has been practising naval architecture for over 40 years and is the owner of van Oossanen Naval Architecture. Perry is the person responsible for hydrodynamics and development. This new-build yacht has an expectational beach club and garage transom, which allows the owners and their guests to relish endless days right by the water's edge, enjoying the yachts plethora of tenders and toys. SPECTRAL 50's interior volume is just as impressive as her exterior with approximately 285-square meters of interior living space. Guido de Groot designed the luxury yacht's interior. Her main salon, formal dining and sky lounge provide the perfect spaces for entertaining. Large windows surround the main salon providing an abundance of natural light. In addition to expansive windows, the main salon blurs the lines between inside and out with two-fold out balconies. A luxurious staircase allows for easy access to her three decks of SPECTRAL 50. Superyacht SPECTRAL 50 offers accommodations for 12 guests in six sumptuous staterooms. Her owner's suite, on the main deck, is a retreat complete with a private office, dressing room and en-suite bath. The superyachts additional staterooms are all located on the lower deck.

PROPULSION The main propulsion plant consists of two (2) MTU 8V4000 M63 Diesel engines 1000kW /bhp 1340 @ 1800rpm (or Caterpillar equivalent), each coupled to a Fixed Pitch Propeller (FPP) through reduction gear box and shaft line. Each main propulsion diesel engine is foreseen with single elastic mounting and elastic coupling to gearbox. Gearboxes will be hard elastic mount. Maximum speed is 16,0 knots.
EXHAUST The exhaust gases of the propulsion engines will be led underwater to the side shell, bypass for low operations will be led to the side shell above waterline. The exhaust gases of the diesel generators will be dry type, fitted with sea water injection, and running through the hull sides above the waterline. Dry silencers and urea-based Selective Catalyst Reduction (SCR) systems will be fitted on all exhaust lines to fulfil the IMO TIER Ill Rules Requirements on NOX emissions, Soot filters are foreseen on the Diesel generators exhaust lines
